We're back at the Bool on Sunday for three jumps races, plus the in-form hurdler of the year is racing on the flat.

It's the big day at Warrnambool with the running of the Grand Annual and Cup on ground that will be extremely heavy.

Racing continues at Warrnambool with eight flat and two jumps races set down for the card. Be sure to check out the jumps tips for Wednesday as well. Expecting genuinely heavy ground for the rest of the carnival.

There are only two jump races on Wednesday at the Bool but both have a lot of interest, in particular the time honoured Galleywood Hurdle.

Jumping kicks off the Warrnambool Carnival with three maiden hurdles to open the carnival. Tim Hickman looks at them, as well as the time honoured Brierly Steeplechase, the feature race on the opening day.

The second jumps meeting of the season is at Warrnambool on Thursday. It's only six weeks until the highlight of the jumping year, the Grand Annual at this very track.

The racing week commences at Warrnambool where the track will be rated good. Lindsey Smith has been in terrific form at his home track and his stable provides our best bet.

Racing on Wednesday is at Warrnambool in Western Victoria. The track will be rated good.
