Soul Choice gets back out to 2400m for the first time since the 2023 Australian Oaks and it’s the right time for her as she looks to be in career best form off the back of two excellent runs in Saturday city company, the most recent behind Saturday’s impressive winner Our Anchorage. The mare should go straight to the front here and take plenty of running down.

Yes Yes Boss looks beautifully placed here at her second career start. The filly started her career with a close up third at Canterbury and was strong through the line after being dropped at the top of the straight. Second up with blinkers on, she finds a moderate maiden to break through in.

Gemini Dancer should have won by a big margin at Pakenham last start but unfortunately threw the race away by hanging in the straight. The one eyed blinker goes on to mitigate that and he gets a big 8Kg weight drop into this. Teo Nugent won on him previously so should hopefully be able to straighten him up. Big winning chance if he does.

I really liked the recent jumpout of The Shaper at Sandown, where he made up a lot of ground under very little pressure. It was certainly the run of a horse with bigger fish to fry this campaign. Craig Williams should give him every chance from barrier two in a moderate race.
