Rhapsody Chic didn’t have luck at the right time first up and can atone. Damian Lane unfortunately got on the back of the roughie leading and when that horse predictably folded up, he had nowhere to go, before getting out late and rattling home. The ex-Kiwi has long shown above average ability and he draws to get the right run here.

More Racing Tips
Gilmore was terrific first up at Moonee Valley over 955m. She actually jumped well but had to be snagged back owing to the wide draw. In this field there should be no such issues. Expect Blake Shinn to position right on speed and if she finished off the way she did at the Valley, should be much too good for them.

Entitled Princess looks the value here. One of just two rides for Ben Melham on the card, she ran a great race over 2400m at Caulfield two back before being one paced in the straight last time when dropping in trip. Back out to a mile and a half here, she strikes a very winnable race and from barrier three can likely sit closer in the run.

Field of Flutes is a pure 1000m horse and over his niche trip can prove hard to beat here first up. The Ciaron Maher trained gelding has been jumping out and trialling very well for this and with some of his key rivals in this race likely better suited over further, he should take plenty of catching.
