The horses that beat him in both races, Amigo and Robrick, have their share of ability so in what looks a weaker contest today, he looks well placed. Expect him to get an ideal run from the favourable draw.

If Renege was being priced off his jumpouts I think he would be a solid favourite here but his debut third in October was a touch disappointing. Nevertheless, happy to be with him here off the back of what have been some excellent jumpout performances, particularly for a 1000m race. Should lead and take catching.

Glad to see Setosa get back to out to 1200m as I think she is looking for this trip. She dropped back to 1000m last start after a good run in the $175K Vobis Carat at Moonee Valley and out to this trip she should be able to sit a little closer in the run. On her best form, she goes very close here.
