Racing Tips – Wednesday Best Bets for Sandown

Sandown - Expert Horse Racing Tips

Midweek racing returns to Sandown for the first time since September. A perfect surface can be expected for the meeting.

Best Bet

6. Sisterhood
Sandown R2 (1.35pm)

Sisterhood showed a stack of ability in her first prep, being a good thing beaten on debut at Pakenham before winning her maiden in dominant style at her next start. The Maher/Eustace stable have given the mare plenty of time and she resumes in a winnable race. If she can have any luck from the inside draw she can be winning.

Recommended Price: $2.50
Confidence Level: 4/5

More Racing Tips

3. Platinum Field
Sandown R1 (1.00pm)

Platinum Field was a sharp improver last start at Moonee Valley, really charging through the line over 1200m at just his second start. The extra 200m here will be right up his alley and with this being only his third start and coming from a top stable, he has lots of upside still.

Recommended Price: $5.00
Confidence Level: 3.5/5

3. One Last Kiss
Sandown R4 (2.45pm)

One Last Kiss was huge at Ballarat last time out, winning from what appeared to be a nearly impossible position. The speed map looks a bit challenging and this is tougher, but I’m backing on her upside here. Hopefully Harry Coffey can position midfield in the run and if he does so, she has the turn of foot to run them down late.

Recommended Price: $4.00
Confidence Level: 3.5/5

7. Mornington Glory
Sandown R8 (5.05pm)

Mornington Glory has been in superb form for the new stable this prep, posting a win and two second placings under new trainer Gavin Bedggood. The most recent of those placings was at Flemington behind the very talented Ray Magnerio in the last race of the carnival. Down in class and ideally draw, he will take beating here.

Recommended Price: $4.00
Confidence Level: 4/5
