Racing Tips – Wednesday Best Bets for Canterbury and Sale

Canterbury should be improving from heavy while Sale will be genuinely heavy.

Best Bet

2. He's On Form
Sale R6 (3:20pm)

He’s On Form simply got too far back last time at Mornington over 2000m. The Patrick Payne trained gelding did make up a stack of ground though, and the extra 200m at this beautiful spacious track should be right up his alley. A promising stayer, he looks very hard to beat here.

Recommended Price: $2.50
Confidence Level: 4.5/5

More Racing Tips

2. Uncorked
Canterbury R1 (12:40pm)

Uncorked had the misfortune to run into Russian Conquest and Fireburn at her first two starts, but was beaten the total of 2.1 lengths. They went on to be two of the outstanding fillies of their generation. Spelled since, she has trialled well for her resumption and finds a winnable race here.

Recommended Price: $4.00
Confidence Level: 3/5

12. It's My Turn
Sale R4 (2:10pm)

It’s My Turn has been placed at both runs and the race experience factor should hold the Danny O’Brien trained two year old in good stead here. The filly ran second to Dusse last time out at Geelong, he came out and ran well at Flemington on Saturday. Look for Daniel Moor to press forward and take a lot of catching.

Recommended Price: $2.35
Confidence Level: 4/5

2. Prince Invincible
Canterbury R5 (3:10pm)

Prince Invincible comes out of a strong form race first up at Kensington that has produced a couple of subsequent winners. Interestingly he’s never raced at Canterbury but his on pace style should be suited here.

Recommended Price: $5.50
Confidence Level: 3/5
