Racing Tips – Wednesday Best Bets for Bendigo

Bendigo - Expert Horse Racing Tips

There’s no midweek metro racing in Victoria but Bendigo does host a particularly strong country program on Wednesday.

Best Bet

14. Dismount
Bendigo R8 (4.30pm)

Dismount finally lived up to his promise with a very impressive win last start at Echuca. He didn’t beat much but the Freedman trained gelding carried a big weight and did it with plenty in hand. The lightly raced three year should get the run of the race from barrier five.

Recommended Price: $3.00
Confidence Level: 4/5

More Racing Tips

6. Pantoja
Bendigo R1 (12.25pm)

Pantoja is the three quarter brother to Giga Kick who looks very hard to beat on the back of some strong jumpouts at Sandown and Balnarring. There has been good support for the gelding in early markets and if he has any of the family ability should be winning what looks a not overly strong race.

Recommended Price: $2.70
Confidence Level: 4/5

6. Flying Pharoah
Bendigo R4 (2.10pm)

Flying Pharoah is airborne since joining the Dane Smith stable for this campaign, winning easily two back at Horsham before being most unlucky at 80-1 in town last start. Coming back 200m in trip isn’t ideal but in present form at double figure odds he is well worth a bet.

Recommended Price: $9.00
Confidence Level: 3/5

1. Le Parrain
Bendigo R5 (2.45pm)

Le Parrain lost no admirers first up Warrnambool when he got back to an impossible position and ran on resolutely to finish second over 1000m. Out to 1100m the Ciaron Maher trained three year old can sit more prominently in running and while this is a deep race, he looks nice value.

Recommended Price: $4.40
Confidence Level: 3.5/5
