Iconic Girl has jumped out well ahead of her debut. The filly was put under very little pressure at Cranbourne most recently but found the line well. Not sure there is much depth here and while she will likely get back in the run, don’t be surprised if she gets into the finish at huge odds.

To my mind – and the stopwatch – there was very little between her and the early favourite for this race, Spirited Writings, and she has drawn inside of the other key speed horses. Great bet at nice odds.

Vegas Diva gets a nice drop in class here. The John McArdle trained filly broke her maiden in BM58 grade two back before rising in class to BM70 last time at Cranbourne, where she ran into a very smart filly of Peter Moody’s. Ideally drawn and back on her home track, she can bounce back.
