Best Bet

10. Vienna Vixen
Kilmore R5 (3:30pm)

It’s not often a horse debuts as well as Vienna Vixen did at Stawell. She put some well performed rivals to the sword, winning by a huge space and running slick time in the process. This is harder but she looks city, if not black type class and can win this if she overcomes the wide draw.

Recommended Price: $2.70
Confidence Level: 4.5/5

More Racing Tips

4. Maxims
Kilmore R1 (1:30pm)

Maxims looks a very worthy favourite in the opener at Kilmore. The Maher/Eustace trained four year old hasn’t been far away in both career runs, finishing third on debut at Terang, then fourth – beaten half a length – at Camperdown. Blinkers go on, he should race on speed and be too good for an ordinary lot.

Recommended Price: $2.30
Confidence Level: 4/5

4. Bring Me To Life
Kilmore R4 (3:00pm)

Bring Me To Life did his chances no favours by blowing the start first up at Mornington, and over 1000m his chances were effectively at an end. That can happen with blinkers on for the first time so I would expect him to be a lot slicker out of the machine this time in. Tojaki from the Maher/Eustace stable has jumped out well, but race experience might prove decisive.

Recommended Price: $5.00
Confidence Level: 3/5

5. Shalaga
Kilmore R8 (5:00pm)

Shalaga is racing so honestly this campaign and looks a great chance again. The Robert Hickmott trained gelding gets some weight relief into this which looks ideal and has shown a real liking for racing at this track.

Recommended Price: $4.60
Confidence Level: 3.5/5
