He’s On Form looks well placed here with blinkers on for the first time. The gelding ran well last time at Werribee races, hitting the line strongly, but he was just one paced when they sprinted. With blinkers on he should be much sharper here and he strikes a highly winnable race.

Trust Account looks value in the opener at Benalla. The Patrick Payne trained three year old has had one start for a second placing in the middle of last year and has been spelled since. In typical Payne fashion, his trials leading up to this have been quiet but suspect he is capable of being right in the finish.

Hotzel is on debut and brings some excellent trial form. The $410,000 filly by Snitzel finished second in a trial at Geelong a fortnight ago that has produced a couple of subsequent winners. From barrier two expect her to take a prominent position in the run and she strikes a very winnable race.

Swerving is resuming from a spell and brings some excellent jump out form. A terrific debut winner just over 12 months ago, she failed twice but she showed at Flemington jumping out alongside the likes of Gold Revolver and Jump The Broom, that she is capable of much better. The booking of Jye McNeil is a solid push too.
