Racing is back at Pakenham on Thursday night for an eight race card, the first of which jumps at 5.15pm.

Il Cubo drops in class from a very strong Saturday three year old race at Caulfield and looks the one to beat here. The lightly raced three year old from the Price/Kent stable was slowly away there but with a cleaner break is certainly capable of racing on the speed. Looks a nice race for him.

Brave Miss was a spectacular winner first up at Werribee. While the filly admittedly had a good run in the race, when she finally got clear she showed an impressive turn of foot to run away and win by an ever increasing six and a half length margin. This race is a step up but one she looks capable of making.
