Racing Tips – Thursday Best Bets for Sale

Sale - Expert Horse Racing Tips

Sale hosts nine races on Thursday on a track that will be rated soft. Our first tip comes from the in-form Phillip Stokes stable.

Best Bet

10. Revalene
Sale R7 (3.30pm)

Revalene was just a tradesmanlike winner first up but based on the evidence of her first prep the filly is capable of going through her grades. At her second start she finished second to Celui at Moonee Valley on Cox Plate day in what has turned out an excellent form race. She will be all the fitter for that first up win and can go on with it here.

Recommended Price: $4.20
Confidence Level: 4/5

More Racing Tips

13. Stolen Kiss
Sale R1 (12.25pm)

Stolen Kiss has had just the one run for a fourth placing at Sandown back in February. The filly hit the line really well and should appreciate this trip (1106m) first up. Look for Tom Stockdale to position her midfield and be strong late. The Shamus Award filly won a jumpout in good style leading into this.

Recommended Price: $3.50
Confidence Level: 3.5/5

5. Rockabottle
Sale R2 (1.00pm)

Rockabottle resumes here off the back of a very good jumpout at Pakenham where he showed nice speed and won easily. The Moody/Coleman trained three year old resumes a gelding here and at his only start placing second in a handy maiden at Camperdown. Looks primed here first up.

Recommended Price: $3.50
Confidence Level: 4/5

3. Turn It Up Tommy
Sale R6 (3.00pm)

AFL premiership coach turned trainer Denis Pagan is having a great run with his horses of late and he can train another winner here with Turn It Up Tommy. The gelding closed off well to finish third at Sandown last time and should relish the extra trip. Looks nice race especially with the claim for Dakotah Keane.

Recommended Price: $6.00
Confidence Level: 3/5
