Miss Havana Cosmic strikes a very winnable race here. Some of the key chances in the market have had upwards of 15 and 20 chances, whereas Miss Havana Cosmic lines up for just start number four. She was a touch plain last start but if you go through that race the form has proved to be strong. Blinkers go on for the first time.

Newcastle 5/3 Sir Rastus (3:05pm)
Sir Rastus debuted in the Group 2 Skyline Stakes a year ago and finished down the track. The stable clearly have a decent opinion of him and his recent trial, albeit on the synthetic, was excellent against some well performed gallopers. Look for a big run at nice odds.

Pakenham 7/10 I Like Big Putts (8:45pm)
I Like Big Putts was brave first up and should only be fitter here. She looked a beaten horse with 200m to go but fought back hard to go down about half a length. Craig Newitt should push forward here and take a lot of running down.
