Racing Tips – Thursday Best Bets for Cranbourne and Kembla Grange

Cranbourne - Expert Horse Racing Tips

Kembla should be soft for racing on Thursday while Cranbourne will be heavy with some rain around.

Best Bet

8. Golden Passport
Kembla R2 (1:05pm)

Golden Passport comes off a last start second at this track over 1200m and the form out of that race looks strong with the winner coming out and scoring again. It’s not hard to see why Arnold is favourite but being first up without a trial from a long spell, the race fitness edge might prove definitive for Golden Passport.

More Racing Tips

3. Deniliquin
Kembla R1 (12:30pm)

Deniliquin gets a big drop in class here and that, combined with the extra trip makes him well placed to break through here. The John Thompson trained stayer flew home at Goulburn first up then was far from disgraced when midfield in a Midway last time. 2000m third up looks ideal.

Recommended Price: $4.00
Confidence Level: 3.5/5

12. Stunna The Runna
Cranbourne R4 (2:30pm)

Stunna The Runna is knocking on the door to win a race and looks a great bet here each way or even on a 1 x 3 basis. She wasn’t beaten far last start at Bairnsdale and ran some slick sectionals in defeat. From barrier four Jack Hill should give her the run of the race and be strong late.

Recommended Price: $9.00/3.00
Confidence Level: 3/5

1. Barrichello
Cranbourne R8 (4:30pm)

Barrichello is having his first start for new trainer Gavin Bedggood who has rightfully gained a reputation for reviving tried horses. You don’t have to go too far back to find some decent form for this horse up in Sydney and he has won a jumpout in the lead in to this. Favourably drawn at his home track, he looks an excellent winning chance.

Recommended Price: $6.00
Confidence Level: 3/5
