Racing on Sunday is at Terang, in the heart of Victoria’s Western District.
Best Bet
Terang kicks off with two highweight races and the favourites in both are very confident bets. Dor Dor comes off two solid flat runs at Pakenham, and most of his rivals here are either first up, legless, over too short a trip or all three. An excellent piece of placement by Jason Warren should be rewarded.

More Racing Tips
Musgrave is no superstar but he gets his chance in a 2150m highweight maiden that has no depth to it. The Maher/Eustace trained gelding had no luck last time over a mile at Terang but flew home in the last 150m after nearly falling at the top of the straight. His rivals here would be flat out running out of sight on a dark night. Evens in early markets was a gift.

Kev’s Girl was disappointing when starting $3.60 last start at the Valley last time but her form prior that saw her start that price was certainly good enough to win this. Her brilliant record of two wins from two starts over this track and distance boosts confidence further.
Recommended Price: $4.00
Confidence Level: 3.5/5
Fiorensact caught the eye with a fast finishing second placing first up at Warrnambool. The six year old was having her first start for new trainer Pat McKenna, so even though he was $151 there I am inclined to take the run on face value, especially as he ran the fifth fastest 200m of the entire meeting. A repeat of that effort would see him winning this.
