Sir Rockford had no luck last start at Pakenham and the form out of that race – and his two prior starts – has been outstanding. Getting back on the turf should hold no fears and he strikes a very winnable race. The Laing stable is in good form and with even luck he should be winning this.

Crowning Moment ran very well first up over this track and distance, finishing second to Bay Thirteen, who confirmed the form by coming out and running second at stakes level last Saturday at Moonee Valley. He was away a touch slowly there so with a keen getaway should be able to sit a little closer in the run.

He comes off a last start second at Casterton and the return to his home track and getting out to 2400m on the quick back up looks an ideal scenario. Getting the services of the in-form Jamie Mott will help too.

Keats has struck a rich vein of form since joining the Gavin Bedggood stable and looks well placed to record another win here. The gelding was dominant winning last start at Moonee Valley, and despite dropping back in trip should be able to find the front without difficulty. This looks his race.
