Racing Tips – Sunday Best Bets for Kilmore

Kilmore hosts its traditional Cup meeting on Sunday but unfortunately with some rain around, we are looking at soft conditions at least for racing.

Best Bet

7. Keats
Kilmore R8 (5.10pm)

Keats looks a very worthy favourite for the 2023 Kilmore Cup. The gelding has been a revelation since joining the Gavin Bedggood stable and he put the writing on the wall for another lucrative campaign when second first up in the Sale Cup. He will only strip fitter and this race looks easier if anything.

Recommended Price: $2.50
Confidence Level: 4/5

More Racing Tips

2. Unfair Dismissal
Kilmore R5 (3.30pm)

Unfair Dismissal is a veteran racing in great heart and can prove hard to beat again. Simeon is entitled to favouritism but odds on in early markets is just stilly. Unfair Dismissal will be right on the speed and the prospect of soft ground will do his chances no harm.

Recommended Price: $6.00
Confidence Level: 3/5

7. Vonk
Kilmore R6 (4.05pm)

Vonk took three starts for new trainer Peter Gelagotis to break through but when he finally did, he did it in brilliant style, winning by an ever growing six and a half length margin. He certainly looks capable of progressing through his grades on the back of that effort and his on pace style will be suited around here.

Recommended Price: $3.00
Confidence Level: 4/5

6. Mysweetmoses
Kilmore R9 (5.40pm)

Mysweetmoses will enjoy the drop in class into this race after going around in much tougher races at Moonee Valley and Flemington, most recently the greys race. Prepared to put a line through that last run over 1400m, coming back in trip will suit and wet ground should no fears.

Recommended Price: $3.50
Confidence Level: 3.5/5
