Flash Feeling was enormous coming from well back in the field to claim victory in the last stride at this track last week over 1700m. The extra 300m looks right up his alley and there is very little depth in this race. Matt Cartwright retains the ride and if he times his run as well as he did last week, Flash Feeling will take all the beating.

Dalasan is beautifully placed here. South Australia’s best horse returns home after a good Sydney campaign where he ran very well in races like the Doncaster and Queen Elizabeth. The kicker in this race is that somehow under the set weights scale he only has 55.5Kg. If he brings his best, he wins.
