Chase My Crown ran favourite in the Mid North Coast Provincial Championship Qualifier last start and ran well, finishing fifth. This race is considerably easier and he simply looks a class above.

Hauraki Gulf has plenty of early toe and strikes a winnable race here. He wasn’t far off in a stronger affair last time at Grafton, Matt McGuren should go straight to the front and take all the catching.

Tawfiq Lass looks value to upset her more fancied stablemate in the last race here. Happy to forgive her last start flop at Newcastle, this is a much more suitable race for her and she looks an attractive price in early markets.
