If he can do so, he is certainly going well enough to prove very hard to beat, especially with the favourite Lauding drawn wide and likely having to go back to last or be caught wide. If Monbaher had drawn a barrier he would be a very confident bet but if he has some luck here he can still win. He played up severely before the race last time (pre race ear muffs go on here) but despite that did a great job to go down narrowly over 2400m at just his second start since 2022. He should strip much fitter for that and this isn’t overly strong.

Explosive Thinker has been disappointing at his last two runs but the jockeys on both occasions suggested he may not have appreciated racing between runners.
