This is a very even race and one where the speed map should prove all important. That suits Takara who has the ability to put himself on speed and if not lead, be second or third at worst in the run. She was a sharp improver last start at Sandown and should be at peak fitness now.

There does look to be good speed in this race and it can play into the hands of One Last Kiss. The mare is absolutely flying this prep, winning well two starts back at Ballarat before going down in the narrowest of finishes last time at Sandown. She still has nice upside and can crack it for a deserved metro win.

Extra Elusive was terrific at his first start for new trainer Andrew Bobbin when almost pinching the Donald Cup last start. The nine year old has real talent but has had plenty of issues, if he is now right he is well capable of winning this Benchmark 70 being a Group 3 winner in the UK. Expect him to press forward from the wide draw which will suit around the Valley.
