Racing Tips – Sunday Best Bets for Ararat and Sale

Warrnambool trainer Lindsey Smith’s team is in great form and he can get winners on both sides of the state tomorrow.

Best Bet

8. Inala Michelle
Ararat R5 (4:08pm)

Inala Michelle was enormous at her first run for new trainer Lindsey Smith. Getting back in the field over 1000m, she flew home to get beaten by a nose. The mare has long shown above average ability, and from the good draw she should sit closer in the run and be far too good for this lot.

More Racing Tips

11. Tiz Enuf
Sale R1 (12:50pm)

Interesting race with a number on debut but I think the jumpouts of Tiz Enuf have been the most impressive of all. His most recent hit out at Mornington, where he showed good speed to lead and won under very little pressure, was that of a horse capable of winning on debut. The booking of Ben Melham is a strong push as well.

8. Divine Hunter
Ararat R1 (1:40pm)

Divine Hunter caught the eye with a fast finishing third placing first up at Mount Gambier. Looping the entire field, he did a big job to get as close as he did. This isn’t a strong maiden, with the key danger being the first starter Madalsa. Suspect Divine Hunter can cause the upset.

7. Stripped Back
Sale R8 (4:55pm)

Stripped Back ran very well last start at Moonee Valley when caught wide, against the pattern of the race. The Lindsey Smith trained gelding should only be improved for that run and should be able to sit a little closer here from barrier three. This is a handy race but one he is certainly up to. Terrific each way value.
