Melbourne have not really put teams to the sword this year and with some key outs the Tigers look a strong bet getting a huge start.

For all the quality we have seen out of the Storm this year that has seen them ascend to the top of the ladder, we have rarely seen them put teams to the sword.
The Storm sit four points clear atop the ladder but have just two wins of more than 10 points. The big problem of late for Melbourne has been some uncharacteristically poor defence, conceding 24-plus seven times this year including in four of their last five.
Harry Grant was not named for the Storm and it is expected that both Ryan Papenhuyzen and Sua Fa’alogo won’t play.
The Storm are 5-8 ATS as an interstate favourite and have covered just six of 19 at night.
The Tigers have been playing well enough of late and they have covered six of seven as an underdog at Leichhardt. They have also covered seven of 11 at home against Top 4 teams.
The Tigers are shortening but are still a bet at anything north of +8.
