The Dolphins stunned the Rugby League World when they pulled off the upset of the season in betting then title contenders the Sydney Roosters in Round 1 and can put in another good showing when they meet the Tricolours again.
Best Bet
The Dolphins look an excellent bet to cover the big line against the Roosters and punters agree with the line already moving from 10.5 to 9.5.
Those that remember back to Round 1 will recall the Dolphins were 15.5-point underdogs at home against the Roosters and absolutely thumped them in a stunning welcome to the NRL, winning 28-18.
This is a great spot for the Dolphins.
They have covered seven of 10 as an underdog of at least eight points. They have covered four of six off scoring at least 28 points.
The Roosters have covered just 11 of 31 when a double digit favourite – if the line gets back there – while they have covered just four of 12 as an interstate favourite. The Roosters have not covered any of their last three interstate.
The Dolphins plus is close to the best bet of Round 24.
Same Game Multi
Jamayne Isaako has 19 tries this year, comes off a hat-trick last weekend and scored a double when these two teams last met.
Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow has 15 tries in 17 games this season and has scored three tries in his last four games against the Roosters.
Value Bet
Connelly Lemuelu has turned himself into an outstanding edge backrower. He runs a hard line and it has turned into seven tries including three in the last four. The Roosters have not been good defensively and he did score against them in Round 1.
