NFL Tips – Monday Night Football – Week 3 2023

Betseeker’s expert tipsters have you covered for the best NFL tips and predictions for every day of the NFL season.

There are two games on Monday Night Football – Tuesday morning in Australia – with the Bucs hosting the Eagles and the Bengals hosting the Rams in a rematch of Super Bowl LVI.

Eagles @ Buccaneers

Tampa Bay +5
Line

Tampa look a great bet with the points against Philly.

Philadelphia, the Super Bowl losers earlier this year, have been far from convincing in both of their wins this season.

They needed a 4-1 turnover advantage to beat Minnesota last week 34-28, and struggled to put away the Patriots in Week 1.

Jalen Hurts has certainly been more impressive with his legs than his arms thus far, having failed to generate 200 yards passing in either game.

Tampa should be able to move the football in this game. Baker Mayfield has been playing well, above all protecting the football, while the Bucs still have two elite playmakers in Chris Godwin and Mike Evans.

Philly have given up over 300 yards passing in both of their games this year, and Mayfield is not a downgrade compared to Mac Jones and Kirk Cousins.

With a solid start here, the Bucs are an excellent bet.

Bucs +5, Otton Over 25.5 Receiving Yards, Hurts TD
SGM

The Eagles lost CJ Gardner-Johnson to the Lions in free agency and it’s affecting their ability to cover tight ends, having allowed over 150 yards and 15 catches to the position in the first two games. Otton had six catches last week and should play a big role in the offence again.

Hurts has two rushing touchdowns in two games against the Bucs and is near unstoppable in short yardage situations.

Rams @ Bengals

Los Angeles Rams +2.5
Line

Does Joe Burrow play or not? With the line favouring the Bengals at -2.5, the market (and it often knows) suggests he will. Nevertheless with or without their star quarterback, the Bengals looks up against it here.

Burrow has been dealing with a calf injury for all of preseason and apparently re-aggravated it towards the end of last week’s loss to the Bengals.

He certainly hasn’t looked like the QB who has led the Bengals deep into the postseason in the last two years, posting 67 yards and 216 yards in his two games. Star receiver Ja’Marr Chase has been held to 70 yards on 17 targets.

The Rams have been playing like a team unburdened by expectation. Their depth is a concern, but as long as Matthew Stafford and Aaron Donald are fit, they are capable of pushing most teams, and 1-1 through two tough division games is a respectable record.

LA can repeat their effort from Super Bowl LVI and down the Bengals.

Rams +2.5, Atwell Over 55.5 Receiving Yards, Williams TD
Multi

Tutu Atwell has speed to burn and while all the focus is on rookie sensation Puka Nacua, Atwell has gone for almost 200 yards over the first two weeks. Expecting Nacua to get plenty of attention this week which might open things up for Atwell.

The Rams made a statement by trading away Cam Akers this week. Kyren Williams is RB1 in LA and with three touchdowns through two games he looks a great chance to find the end zone again.
