The Jets find a way to keep winning despite their offensive woes and they look an excellent play with the points against the Chargers in what should be another low scoring prime time game.
Best Bet
Another prime time game, another under bet.
Night games have been an insanely strong under bet with the under now 60-29 since the start of last season.
New York’s defence should be able to keep the Chargers defence from having a big night. LA did score 30 against the hapless Bears last week, but in their two games prior they scored just 17.
It’s hard to see the Chargers more than three touchdowns against a defence that has allowed no more than two in any game so far this season, including against top offences like Buffalo, Kansas City and Philadelphia.
It will need a big contribution from the Chargers to go over the total because with Zach Wilson, the Jets once again have one of the worst offensive units in all of football, ranking 26th in points and 30th in yards.
Either way, it is hard to see enough contribution from both sides to get this number over.
Same Game Multi
Despite their offensive woes the Jets are 4-3 head to head and only two losses have been by more than a field goal. Taking them with the under makes a lot of sense as they are ill equipped to win a game that becomes a shoot out.
Value Bet
Hall is the focal point of the Jets offence and really one of two realistic possibilities to score the first TD if New York score it (the other being Garrett Wilson). A weapon in both the pass and running game, he looks a big price here for the first score.
