Week 7 kicks off with the New Orleans Saints (3-3) hosting the Jacksonville Jaguars (4-2) on Thursday Night Football.
Best Bet
Regression catches up with everyone at some stage and this is a prime spot for the Jaguars to fall victim to it.
So far the Jags defence rank 31st in the NFL in passing yards allowed, but 1st for turnovers. There is a lot of luck in the latter number while the former is a real concern.
New Orleans’ offence on the other hand has been decent at putting up yards, but they are a woeful 28th in red zone production. Again, regression points to that changing at some point soon.
The Saints defence on the other hand is an excellent unit, ranking in the top ten in key areas such as yards, points, and third down. With Jags QB Trevor Lawrence under an injury cloud, they should be able to keep the Jags offence in check.
Going into New Orleans is a different kind of challenge for the Jags as well, as this is their first true away game (they hosted the Bills in London) since Week 1.

Derek Carr should be able to move the ball against a Jags defence that ranks 31st in passing yards allowed.
Shaheed had has been the Saints best source of explosive plays all season.
Value Bet
It’s often the burner type receiver finding the end zone against the Jags this season – think Josh Downs, Tank Dell – and Shaheed certainly fits that mould.
