Thursday Night Football offers up a terrific clash with Philadelphia (7-2) hosting Washington (7-3) at Lincoln Financial Field.
Best Bet
Philly come into this game off a five game winning streak but the quality of those wins is highly dubious. In that time they’ve beaten Cleveland (2-7), NY Giants (2-8), Cincinnati (3-5), Jacksonville (2-7) and Dallas (3-6, and with Cooper Rush at QB.
In fairness, Washington’s schedule hasn’t been much tougher but they still look an excellent bet getting three and a half here. Jayden Daniels is right in the MVP race as a rookie, and defensively they have been able to do enough.
Where they have been particularly adept is forcing turnovers, as Washington has won the turnover battle in each of its last five games.
The Commanders come into this game with one of the best records in the game against the line, having covered in seven of nine this season. Philly, by contrast, are 0-3 as a home favourite against the number this year.
Take Washington and the points.
Same Game Multi
Pittsburgh did a great job last week of keeping Daniels in the pocket and taking away his ability to scramble. Expect Philly to try and emulate this, but this can create opportunities in the passing game.
Value Bet
Washington has allowed five touchdowns to opposing tight ends through ten games, so Goedert, who found the end zone last week, looks nice value to score again.
