NBA Tips – Tuesday, November 5 NBA Picks & Multi

LaMello Ball - NBA Tips

All 30 teams play on Tuesday in a huge slate of NBA basketball, and we’ve plucked out our three best bets with many more on offer across a number of games.

Best Bet

Toronto Raptors @ Denver Nuggets (2:00pm)

RJ Barrett
Over 23.5 Points

Very surprised to see RJ Barrett’s line so low – I’ve got the Raptor marked at around 27.5 points.

Barrett is flying and making this undermanned Raptors outfit competitive. The former Knick has now scored 30+ in his last three games, with his only game under 23.5 points being his first game of the season where he finished with 20 points in 28 minutes.

Without Barnes and Quickley on the floor, Barrett is averaging 32 points per 36 minutes – I can see the Canadian having another 30 against this Denver outfit that are nowhere near the level they were last year.

SGM – Barrett Over 23.5 Points / Poeltl 10+ Rebounds / Jokic 25+ Points = $3.40

Next Best

Charlotte Hornets @ Minnesota Timberwolves (1:00pm)

LaMelo Ball
Over 32.5 PA

The small-ball Charlotte Hornets could unleash LaMelo Ball to another level.

Nick Richards will miss for the Hornets which means Grant Williams will likely play at centre, and with Richards off the floor LaMelo’s numbers improve substantially averaging 37.8 points and 8.6 assists per 36 minutes.

LaMelo has covered this PA line on points alone in three of his six games this season, covering 32.5 PA in five of six games total. He’s just dropped 31 and 36 in consecutive games against the best defensive back-court in the NBA in Boston, so despite a tough Timberwolves match-up I don’t expect him to be troubled covering this.

SGM – Timberwolves / Ball 25+ Points / Bridges 6+ Rebounds = $3.10

Value Bet

Portland Trail Blazers @ New Orleans Pelicans (1:30pm)

Jerami Grant
20+ Points

Really think the Trail Blazers are a show in this, getting the Pelicans for the third time this season with New Orleans entering this off no rest.

Portland smashed the Pelicans in their last meeting on October 27 led by Jerami Grant. Only needing 28 minutes due to a blowout, Grant still finished with 28 points for the game. In the game prior against the Pelicans where Portland had a 2-point loss, Grant still had a monster game scoring 34 points.

Grant can be erratic, but he does enter this game off the back of 20 points against the Suns. He has proven form against the Pelicans this year who remain undermanned with injuries to key players.

SGM – Portland +2.5 / Grant Over 17.5 Points / Ayton 10+ Rebounds = $3.75

Tuesday NBA Multi

Celtics / Lakers / Bulls / Grizzlies / Suns
$3.90
