Some of the NBA stars have come out to play early in the season and it’s a great opportunity to back them now before their lines start moving over the next week or so.

Always been an absolute gun – just with weak ankles, but we need to strike while the iron is hot with LaMelo Ball.
Ball is thriving early under new coach Charles Lee, and has posted 34 points in each of his two games to start the season easily covering the PRA of 37.5 in both games.
What’s more impressive is in Saturday’s loss to the Hawks, Ball was in foul trouble and finished with 34 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in just 29 minutes. Miami will be a more difficult defensive proposition, but I still think LaMelo can do plenty of damage against this Heat team.

I know his minutes are well down early in the season but what’s with this points line?
Ja Morant has covered this in both games so far this season averaging 23 per game, but his output per minute is strong going at 32 points per 36 minutes.
Morant only played 24 minutes against the Rockets on Saturday, but this was a blowout and the first-game of a back-to-back. I expect Taylor Jenkins to remain conservative to start the season with his rotations, but Morant should still play close to 30 minutes against the Magic which means he’s covering this line.

Sacramento Kings @ LA Lakers (1:40pm)
Has JJ Redick given the big man the keys at LA? It’s certainly the right call, and while LeBron’s output has been well down to start the season, AD has been incredible.
Davis scored 36 points in the Lakers season-opener against DPOY Rudy Gobert, and then backed it up Saturday with 35 points against the Suns in a come-from-behind win.
Sacramento aren’t exactly a lockdown defensive unit, and with AD’s line still at 25.5 there’s no reason why he can’t have another monster game as the Lakers primary offensive player.
