Staged in one of the most stunning regions for golf in the United States, the famed Pebble Beach is one of three courses to host the Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
Best Bet
Going back to the well with Aberg, who finished T-9 last week but with the number of four-foot and under misses should have probably won. Aberg ticks every box again for this course. He leads the Tour in Par 5 Scoring and Ball Striking while he ranks Top 10 in GIR, Bogey Avoidance and Putting Average. Tasty price this week.
Mid-Tier Bet
Californian Collin Morikawa was very disappointing last week but will be confident of bouncing back here when he makes his pro debut in the event. Morikawa went to school in Northern California and won a major in the region too. Ranks Top 10 in key stats Strokes Gained: Approach, Ball Striking, GIR and Par 5 Scoring. Should have a big tournament.
Value Bet
Kevin Yu is a highly undervalued player, shown the last two weeks with back-to-back Top 6 finishes. A lovely iron player, Yu ranks 4th in Ball Striking and 4th in GIR. Don’t undersell his great run last week.
Longshot Bet
Ryder is huge overs not only to win at $501 but to Top 20. An outstanding putter, Ryder ranks 4th in Putting Average and 14th in Strokes Gained: Putting. Finished 4th in the 2023 Farmers Insurance, a very good guide for here. Expecting a big tournament.
