The Heat and Scorchers meet for the second time this week in a battle of arguably the Big Bash’s two best teams.

While its rare that you’d tip against the Scorchers in Perth, the Heat are the best team in the competition this season and look the value here.
Their win over the Scorchers on Wednesday came by a comfortable 23-run margin and with the reigning champions chasing, which is their preferred approach to T20 cricket.
Brisbane won’t lose too much with Labuschagne and Khawaja’s BBL cameos completed. Both Nathan McSweeney and Josh Brown were in excellent form prior.
The gulf in bowling quality was on full display at the Gabba, with the home side belting 191 and the Scorchers falling well short. On a similarly bouncy surface, Neser, Johnson and Bartlett look a very competitive match-up for Behrendorff, Morris and an out of form Richardson (Edit: now out injured) , while the wildcard Paul Walter continues to dominate the competition.
The Heat have won seven straight games and can keep that run rolling.

Bartlett has gone from a fringe selection for the Heat to the competition’s best bowler this season. The young quick has taken 15 poles from seven games in BBL 13 – two clear of the next best bowler. He took two against the Scorchers in their recent clash and 2+ in five of seven games this season.
Value Bet
Evans remains a good price batting well down the order as he keeps delivering big scores. He top scored against the Heat on Wednesday and has led the run tally in three of his last six in Perth. If the top order, particularly Hardie, fall cheap then Laurie will be right in the hunt again.
