The days of the 100 goal kicker are sadly past but the race to top the goal kicking in the AFL is always an intriguing one. Jesse Hogan won the award in 2024, with 2022 and 2023 winner Charlie Curnow the favourite for this year’s award.

Georgiades isn’t just the best bet to win the Coleman, he is the single best futures bet in the entire AFL season. The 23 year old finished off 2024 in terrific form, with multiple goals in nine of Port’s last ten home and away games. He also stands to get even more opportunities this year with Charlie Dixon retired and Todd Marshall to miss the season with injury.

The big ‘Souva’ should finally get into a team that can get him enough opportunities to make a run at the Coleman. He only managed 46 last year, but his 71 in 2023 is a sign of what he is capable of if he gets better supply.
Roughie
We all know that Eric isn’t the toughest customer, but he stands to get ample opportunities in a team that should have a dominant midfield and is capable of piling on huge scores at the Gabba. Hopefully in the absence of Joe Daniher his game can take another step forward. The talent is there.
