Best Bets – RBC Heritage Betting Tips 2022

Plenty of big names are on their way from Augusta to Harbour Town in a gold-plated version of the RBC Heritage this year.

Best Bet

Kevin Kisner ($51)

There is absolutely no better course fit this week than Kevin Kisner. The South Carolina native just has a superb record on the key correlation courses that makes him a standout play.

Kisner won the Wyndham last year and has Top 5s in the 2020 RSM Classic, the 2020 Wyndham, the 2021 Travelers and the 2022 Players. With three Top 11s here in his last seven starts, he has the perfect game for Harbour Town.

Two of the key guides here are Driving Accuracy and Strokes Gained: Putting. Kisner ranks Top 7 in each.

With Top 4 finishes in two of his last four starts, Kisner is massive overs.

Mid-Tier Bet

Tyrell Hatton ($51)

Englishman Tyrell Hatton ranks Top 10 in stroke average at Harbour Town in the last five years and with a hot putter he is value to perform well this week.

Hatton faded on the weekend at Augusta but his form was strong leading in with four Top 21 finishes in his last five starts.

He leads the Tour in Strokes Gained: Putting and 5th in Putting Average.

With a good record on Pete Dye courses, he should be contending.

Roughie

Denny McCarthy ($126)

A strong short game is key to success at Harbour Town and Denny McCarthy has just that.

McCarthy ranks 12th in Scrambling and 14th in Strokes Gained: Putting.

Form on the correlation courses is good. He has Top 15 finishes in the 2022 American Express, the 2021 RSM and the last two Wyndhams.

He finished 13th last year here and finished T-18 at his last start. Strong for Top 10/20 showings.

Round 1 Top 5 – Matt Kuchar ($11)

Matt Kuchar ranks 2nd on Pete Dye courses in strokes gained in the first round so he should start hot here. He is playing well coming off a 2nd in the Valero Texas Open while he is a former winner here who has Top 23 finishes in seven of his last eight starts at Harbour Town.
