Minnesota were the surprise packets through the opening six weeks but a few stumbles have brought them back to the field and the Colts have been sneaking under the radar.
Best Bet
The Colts have finally pulled the pin on the Anthony Richardson experiment, turning to Joe Flacco as the starting QB this week. Richardson likely plays in designed packages but with the Colts in contention for the division, they are looking at their best chance to win now and Flacco provides that.
Minnesota opened with five straight wins but have lost back-to-back games to the Lions and Rams, conceding 30-plus in each.
This is a huge spot for the Colts – and a huge spot to take on the Vikings.
Minnesota do not handle expectations well with the Vikings 7-21 ATS as a home favourite with O’Connell 0-7 ATS in the spot.
Home favourites of less than a touchdown cover at just 38.7%.
Sunday Night Football is big for the Colts with teams off a win cover at 63% while those off a loss covering at just 37.5%.
Indianapolis are a great bet to cover and over-the-odds to win.
Same Game Multi
Aaron Jones has topped this number in four of his last six.
Jonathan Taylor has run for at least 88 yards in his last four while he has five touchdowns this year in just five games.
Value Bet
Josh Downs is not the Colts’ WR1 but he is certainly playing like it this year. Downs has either seven-plus catches or 100-plus yards in four of his last five games. He has three touchdowns in six games this season and should get better ball with Flacco throwing.
