NFL Tips – Monday Night Football – Week 7 2024

Lamar Jackson - NFL Tips

Monday night sees a doubleheader with Baltimore travelling to Tampa Bay, before the Chargers travel to play the Cardinals.

Baltimore @ Tampa Bay

Over 50.5
Total Points

It should be a scoring bonanza when the Ravens travel to Tampa.

These teams have been strong to the over this season, with Baltimore going over in five of six games and Tampa going over in four.

The Ravens offence has ascended to a new level off the back of Derrick Henry’s addition and it’s hard to see the Bucs – ranked in the bottom half of the league in all key metrics – succeeding in containing Lamar Jackson and company.

At the same time, the Ravens defence has been uncharacteristically poor for a franchise that is renowned for great defensive teams.

The Ravens currently rank 17th in yards per drive and 24th in points per drive, and the Bucs offence is on fire at the moment with 30 or more points in the last three games.

Over 50.5, Henry & Evans TD

Mike Evans has five touchdowns through six games and the 6’4″ receiver is a potent threat in the red zone.

‘King’ Henry has nine touchdowns this season, one in each game.

LA Chargers @ Arizona

LA Chargers
Win

Jim Harbaugh has turned the Chargers into a proper football team and they can record another road win here in Arizona.

The Chargers have had a soft schedule to start the season but the fact remains that they have not conceded more than 20 points all season.

Kyler Murray and the Cardinals offence are highly inconsistent but always struggle against smart, competitive teams – which the Chargers now surely are.

As mediocre as the Chargers offence has looked at times, they should still be able to move the ball against a Cardinals outfit that has given up at least 373 yards in each of the last four games and ranks 31st for yards and 28th for points per drive.

Keen on the visitors in this one.

Chargers Win, Dobbins 80+ Yards & TD

Running back JK Dobbins has the been the focal point of the Chargers offence, averaging more than 80 yards per game at a very healthy 5.4 yards per carry. He has scores in three of his five games.
