Is It Me is a classy galloper who looks capable of pulling out a big run fresh. His recent jumpouts in the Western District have been terrific and he is a horse who usually runs well first up. Last prep it took the brilliant Skybird – getting 7Kg – to knock him off. Should get a good run from barrier four and be strong late.

Touristic was a touch disappointing when stretched out in trip last time in the Newcastle Cup but his prior form around Eliyass, Deny Knowledge and Golden Path is terrific for a race of this kind, particularly with so many of his rivals coming out of similar form races. Looks great value.
