Both the Packers and Raiders have started the season slowly and will be desperate to get back on track with a Week 5 victory.
Best Bet
Green Bay are an excellent bet as outsiders on Monday Night Football.
The first season of the Jimmy Garoppolo era has not gone well in Las Vegas, as the Raiders are 1-3 after four weeks.
Garoppolo returns from injury this week but Vegas’ problems do not begin with the quarterback position, as they average a pitiful 3.0 yards per carry despite having all-pro running back Josh Jacobs.
There is also an injury cloud over star receiver Davante Adams, so it’s hard to see the Raiders 25th ranked passing attack putting up enough points against a Packers defence that has only allowed 5.6 yards per attempt and has not allowed more than 235 passing yards in ay one game.
The verdict is well and truly out on Jordan Love as the Packers quarterback, but they should be able to get their ground game going this week.
Aaron Jones, Green Bay’s primary back, has been underwhelming this season, but this game presents a golden opportunity for him – if he can overcome an injury designation. The Raiders’ run defence has been porous, giving up an average of 121.3 rushing yards per game (26th in the NFL).
The Raiders also have an injury query over star pass rusher Maxx Crosby, a massive concern given that even with Crosby they are the 31st ranked team in the NFL for pressure rate.
The Packers are a very confident bet.

Value Bet
Las Vegas have given up at least 75 yards to the opponent’s leading receiver in each of the last three weeks. Watson has the explosiveness to generate the big plays required to clear this number,
