Another from the Lindsey Smith yard, he was a first up winner when last in work, and the only time he ran over 1000m he was beaten at Colac by, of all things, Asfoora, which will likely start near favourite in the Oakleigh Plate. He can win this.

The son of War Chant won his most recent jumpout in impressive style – beating Saturday’s winner Darci’s Debut – and he can win this.

Red Hawk was a brilliant debut winner 18 months ago but has been grossly disappointing since. However, on the strength of his most recent jumpout win at Camperdown, which was one of the more spectacular pieces of work you will see from a horse, he is worthy of another chance in what is a very winnable race.
