NFL Tips – Miami Dolphins @ Buffalo Bills – Wildcard Weekend 2022

Josh Allen - NFL Tips

The line here looks just a little bit too big even with the Dolphins playing their third string quarterback.

Best Bet

Miami +13.5
Line

Miami went 1-1 against the Bills in the regular season and the 13.5 point starts looks too big.

The Dolphins defeated the Bills 21-19 in Week 3, and only lost 32-29 in Week 15, leading as late as the fourth quarter.

The concern for Miami is the quarterback situation. Tua Tagavailoa will miss with a concussion, Teddy Bridgewater is battling a hand injury, so it will be up to 7th round rookie Skylar Thompson to try and lead the Fins to a win.

Thompson has not been great, averaging 5.1 yards per attempt with one touchdown and three picks.

Miami should be able to lean on their running game though. They rushed for 188 yards when these teams met in Week 15 and the Bills have been shown to be vulnerable against good running teams.

If they can run the ball effectively and limit turnovers, expect the Dolphins to do enough to cover, as they did twice against Buffalo in the regular season.

Same Game Multi

Miami +14, Jeff Wilson Over 55.5 Rushing Yards, Dawson Knox TD

With Raheem Mostert out with a broken thumb, Jeff Wilson should should see a heavy workload against the Bills.

Bills tight end Dawson Knox has been Josh Allen’s favourite target in the red zone of late, with scores in his last four games.

Value Bet

Cole Beasley
Anytime Touchdown

Veteran receiver Cole Beasley has been officially called up the Bills 53 man roster which is an interesting statement of intent. While he has not scored this season he could easily have had one two weeks ago had Josh Allen made a better pass.
